Daviess County 4-H Clubs & Projects
If you have any questions about Daviess County 4-H Clubs and Projects, call us at 270-685-8480.
To participate in any 4-H Club, contact the 4-H Agent listed for that club. You may also call the office at 270-685-8480 to verify the next meeting date, time, and location before coming to the club meeting. If the youth is not already enrolled in Daviess County 4-H, an enrollment form should be completed and turned into the Extension Office (by e-mail or in person), or at the club meeting.
Crushers
Daviess County 4-H Crushers is a trap shooting team open to youth ages 9-18 (as of January 1, 2026). Practices usually begin in the spring and continue until the state competition in September.

The Cloverbud Cooking Club is tailored to work with Cloverbud-aged youth (ages 5-8). This club requires an RSVP each month due to limited kitchen space and to ensure enough supplies.

The poultry club teaches youth all about raising poultry! Club members will have a chance to participate in the Daviess County Fair Poultry Show.

Livestock Club
The 4-H Livestock Club brings all other 4-H animal clubs together with certified volunteer leaders.

Learn MoreFeeder Calf Project
The 4-H/FFA Feeder Calf Project is a short-term project where youth purchase a young calf (or calves) to raise into feeder size. Participants attend meetings and weigh-ins, show their calves at the county fair, and sell their calves at the August CPH60 Cattle Sale.
